How You Can Help

logo_blue_small2.gif Parkinson’s SA appreciates all offers of voluntary help. You may have specialised skills or simply be an extra pair of hands. Whatever, the contribution is greatly valued and helps us to provide the level of service our members need.

Voluntary Help

The office at Unley is staffed, most of the time, by volunteer helpers. They may be engaged in answering phone calls from people needing information about PD or our services. They may be assisting with administrative tasks. They may be preparing the bi-monthly newsletter or other information for mail out. If you can spend the occasional morning or afternoon with us, please get in touch and offer your help. As we deal with personal information, it is prudent that all our volunteers are subject to a routine police check.

Fundraising

Like most charitable organisations, Parkinson’s SA is dependent on fundraising efforts to top up the contributions from official sources. We welcome offers to assist in fundraising events and, of course, are grateful for your donations too. Without the additional funding raised in this way, we could not carry out many of the valuable programmes to which we are committed.

Sponsorship

Perhaps you are in a position to offer sponsorship, either of the organisation in general, or some particular aspect such as hosting our website. It means a great deal to our members to receive generous assistance from those who are kind enough to provide it. Please call us to discuss how you can help.
